Have we noticed the rust on February and March builds as well or just January?
I don’t think those have been shipped yet.. they probably still in the middle of shipping the backlog of trucks they still have out waiting to be shipped.

Some have been delivered and some are shipping now. Mine is in transit, 3/01 blend date.

Yes, mine is being shipped now (mid Feb build) but I know some March builds have already been delivered already.

Mine was put together in March. Should be at my dealership no later than 4/15 and they are going to check it out when it gets there.

I wonder if this is why the Jan builds havent shipped...
I'm getting tired of waiting and this rust issue has me worried since my truck has been sitting idle since mid january.

I found a very similar build on autotrader getting built this week and if it arrives prior to my truck shipping I'm just going to abandon my order for that one. Really hoping march-april builds don't also have this rust problem.

Tire specs indicate full-size "non-matching" spare, thus the cheaper street tire.
I thought I saw someone ( @KayaPayaPigDog ) reviewing show theirs and it looked like the off-road tire as spare.. In the video here: (24) years worth of rust on day 6... what a bummer | Ranger6G - 2024+ Ranger & Raptor Forum, News, Owners, Community (6th Gen)

Update: This is what the owner's manual says we should have as a spares.
spare Tire.jpg
@Critical Habitat that must be Raptor only, I see my manual says spare may differ in size, either with a sticker (probably donut) for limited use and speed, and without sticker, most likely smaller size but ok for regular driving. I just don't know about running (3) 17" and (1) 16" tire! I'd like to hear what others with XLT and Lariat say....

Can not use 4WD with a 16" and the rest are 17".
That I know for a fact.

Yes, hoping the RR has the full-size matching off-road tire, even if it is on a steel rim.

You can use a spare with a smaller diameter rim on a 4wd as long as the OD of the tire is the same.

Mine is a march 6 build. It is on the rail now. It was in Indiana this morning on it's way to Texas. So, it should be about another week and I can check for rust.

I contacted my dealer and told them I want the underbody inspected upon arrival. They're working with me - so we'll see.

How the hell is it going to go though the "RUST BELT" (Not that I know what exactly that is but I have a idea with this thread).... When it was just built a month ago... I can partially understand the potential Rust with all the Salt and Snow up there with them sitting there for a few months but not this where it just been built and only sitting out there for 2 weeks.
