nope that is the real thing, so fugly!AI slop.
What a joke! Literally says "This truck is built to work, not impress on paper." And then proceeds to do literally no work, just circles around some cattle. No view ofthe engine or explanation of what makes it better, stole the Ranger's bed side steps, and left a very underwhelming interior. Yeah, Ford has it's problems and needs to get their heads out fo their asses on some issues, but this isn't anything to cause worry! The article is the slop.nope that is the real thing, so fugly!
It’s also not even new. It’s on the same almost 2 decade old platform, just with an updated interior and uglier exterior panels. The Hilux is being left behind by even Chinese manufacturers. What a joke! Literally says "This truck is built to work, not impress on paper." Yep! I had a 2000 Tacoma. Too hard on my back and not enough power, so I picked up a 2005 Tundra. Coming from 2 Toyotas I was hoping the redesign of the Tacoma were steps in the right direction. Nope! Goofy, overemphasized nose, top engine is a 4 banger with batteries way slower than the V6 Rangers and shock absorbers in the seats (TRD Pro) eliminating the possibility of rear passengers! Only positive is the available 6' bed.I remember when Toyota Tacoma's were bullet proof, 40 years ago. I might have considered one this time around but with no flat tow capability and lack luster power and styling, I'll stick with my 2.7 Lariat.
Well reliability is one thing but the fun factor is another. I bought a Ranger Raptor for the fun factor which is I think the best in the business.
