Just the wife and I now
Fits in the garage with a little rearranging
Narrower then my F150, so less "pinstriping" on trails
Same as above - easier to park

I still have my F150. My wife does not like to drive it because of it's size. She had a 2010 mustang that she traded for a Bronco Sport, but that did not float her boat so she traded for a 2023 Ranger Tremor. That's when she fell in love with trucks, but did not want the same size truck I did. She now sits in a beautiful Ruby Red 2025 Lariat that I love to upgrade on!

What's contradictory is that the Ranger feels smaller inside, but side by side in the driveway you do not SEE a huge difference. Its amazing how tight the turning radius is compared to my F150. So just like everyone else, it's because of size. My 5'3" wife owns the ranger, I own the F150 (well, let's be real... she owns both but lets me drive one )

Had an F150 and was considering getting a new one but didn't want to pay current F150 prices.

Thought about how I actually use my truck and determined that I could step down to a midsize and save a bunch of money while still being able to do everything I needed to.

Now I'm glad I ended up going with the Ranger over the f150. I love the tight turning radius and ease of parking.

So far about 2.5 feet of snow and ice I haven't had to clean off this truck because it fits in the garage... and counting...

In the mountains where I hunt and play, a midsize truck is much more nimble and I’m a lot less likely to scratch the paint/clearcoat on my truck. I can still load an elk and all of my and my hunting partners hunting gear for the day. I have my F250 when a full sized bed or more towing capacity is needed, but my ranger will see way more miles this year than my f250 will.

When I had my 21 foot long F350 I always wished it could be 21 feet long on the highway then telescope down to about 16 feet once in town.

I have run lifted F150s for the last 20 years, super cool, until I drove the Ranger Raptor, never again to a full size.

More agile, funner, and easier to drive in traffic and parking lots. More affordable and simpler to use as a daily driver as well.

This is my third midsize truck. I use it as my daily transportation. Here is my F350 longbed Dually with diesel if I need to haul or pull big. The Ranger does what I need to do most of the time and that includes towing my small camper and even a car trailer for short trips. The 350 is just a pain to park.

THIS! Why do people look at a ranger, and then say, “if you want a truck why not get this?” As if they’re the same thing!

I've had F350's, 250's, and 150's for so long that it has just become a habit. Nothing better than an 8' bed too. Boys are now out of the house, wife does not drive my "big" trucks, and I'm not building or landscaping my house in "big" ways anymore. More often than not, I'm by myself in my CC, 6.5' bed F150, and if I'm hauling something, its usually in my little 12' utility trailer anyway. Where I'm from, it seems like everyone has huge trucks, and most don't use them for anything - comical - kinda makes me want to go in the other direction if you know what I mean.

I just want to "zip around" easier, and now my wife will take the Ranger if she needs to. Plus, the extra MPG and easier parking will be a bonus. Someone else mentioned that trucks now are so much bigger in size than they used to be, that's true, as I have a '68 F250 that seems more like the modern "mid-size" trucks of today.

Here also, everyone has 1 ton 4x4 crewcab lifted monster trucks without a scratch in the bed or marks in the tow hitch reciever.

Had a 1996 and 2003 Ranger w/ extended cab w/ full size bed. See my "Rangers we have known" thread. At 6'4", was like wearing the truck. Went to a 2010 F150 FX4 for more room. Then a 2021 F150 Lariat for more tech. Got old, me not the truck, hard to park when in the city. Didn't need it. Ranger is bigger now but still 3' less than my F150. Handles great. Love it.
