Are you sticking with Ford supplied oil for oil changes?

You can add self-service entries to your FordPass account online. Used to be able to add them in the FordPass app until they recently upgraded to an "improved" version.
Thats fantastic, thanks for sharing!

EDIT: Just went through everything in FordPass online and couldnt find it. Maybe I missed something.

I drain the factory fill at around 1,500 km. At that point it gets 6 litres of Pennzoil Ultra Platinum and a Motorcraft oil filter. Blended oils are fine, full synthetics are better.
Ecoboost motors require quality oil and frequent oil changes for the chains, chain guides and cam phasers to last.
YMMV

I went to my Vehicle Dashboard, picked the correct vehicle, scroll down to Quick Links, and pick Service History.

Alternatively, try this direct link: https://www.ford.com/support/service-history/
I have been unable to add a manual entry for about a week now. I get an error message.

Oops! Something went wrong adding your entry. Please refresh and try again later.

I reported it via chat and they say it is a know issue and IT is working on it.

It seems Ford needs a lot of help with regard to their IT needs. I applied for a remote Technology Strategy Manger position at Ford back in April. My application (like my truck) is still "Under consideration".

Did they give you a link to a never updating pizza tracker to check on the status of your application?

Oh, and good luck on the job app.

I just got my oil change on my RR at 3,100 miles. On-line scheduling is a bit misleading - indicates "off-brand" full synthetic. I confirmed they used Motorcraft. Service advisor has no clue why ford would indicate "Off-brand".

AmsOil or bust! I am going to change the oil when I hit 1k on the odometer on my new raptor. I ran AmsOil in my STi for its life and I had 0 issues with it.

I don’t really care what they put in it. I bought the full Service and Maintenance plan from Ford so they will have to take full ownership for whatever happens for the next 10 years.
Same, I just took mine in for the 2nd 5k at like 8900 2 days ago, paid for the "PREMIUM Care" ESP with the full synthetic addon, dealer still put in blended.... guess they will be dealing with any damage but i am def going to call and ask wtf, told 2 separate "service" managers and they still put in blended...oh well but still going to call and ask why? Ford by proxy is paying them for synthetic so it should be synthetic

I’m almost 7 weeks into my new ‘25 RR and this morning I completed oil and filter change #2. My first change was at 500 miles on the clock about a month ago and today’s change was done right at the 1,500 mile mark.

I’ve decided to go with 5w-30 Pennzoil Ultra Platinum (PUP) and Ford Motorcraft oil filters and will likely be sticking with both for the long-term.

As warranty preservation is crucial for me, I wanted to go with a widely-available full synthetic from one of the majors that specifically lists the Ford WSS-M2C961-A1 specification the 3.0 EB calls for in the owners manual.

PUP is one of several high-quality, full synthetics which meet this specific Ford spec; Others which are widely-available and well-regarded are M1 Truck/SUV, Valvoline Restore & Protect, and Castrol Edge (Gold Bottle) as well as many others.

I plan to change my oil and filter again at 3K and then once more at 5K. After that, I plan to follow a severe duty schedule and will likely go every 3K or 90 days — whichever comes first.

Ford blend is fine however I use Mobile 1. I prefer the full synthetic. It's usually less expensive in Walmart then the cost of the Ford blend. And I drop my oil often.

I have a service contract so it goes to the dealer for its oil changes, I specify "full synth" at each oil change. If you do not do this the default is synth-blend.

I swapped to Mobil-1 full synthetic 0W-30 at 500miles

Used this oil for every vehicle ive ever owned in the north, significant advantage in cold starting and they recently reformulated the already excellent addictive package to make it even better which has gotten excellent testing results on several oil specific forums and by youtubers.

Bonus:

You can often find it cheaper than Ford's OEM blend on sale at Canadian Tire \ Walmart

I changed out my factory synthetic blend at 1.8k miles (1.5k is my typical first change, but was busy so I figured 300 miles wasn't relevant). First oil change was at the dealer to the following OE spec FS:

MOTORCRAFT XO5W30Q1FS Oil | Shop Now at RockAuto

and OE filter

More Information for MOTORCRAFT FL2062A

Used the same oil but did it myself the 2nd time and will do so from now on because I don't want to pay $130 for a $67 oil change! Note that XO5W30Q1FS this is their newer GF-6 spec 5W-30 formula, so it has an entirely new additive package for the GF-6 spec to address LSPI, Timing Chain Wear and minimized sludging for better turbo / bearing reliability in modern TGDI engines now mainstream in Ford vehicles.

I also applied In Situ DLC films to the entire powertrain for anyone interested in application of novel Synthetic Magnesium Silicate Hydroxide tech and will continue to do so at the appropriate intervals as part of regular maintenance:
