For anyone in the greater Jacksonville, Daytona or Orlando areas, there's a black RR for $6k discount at Coggin Deland posted on AutoTrader. It's black or I'd have already inquired about it. Not sure about the rest of you, but I've been waiting for some decent discounts on 2024's as the 2025's should be in shortly in FL. Maybe this is the start. I have a potential allocation for a 2025 at dealer cost but am waiting to see what happens to the 2024's first. I am not affiliated in any, way, shape or form with this dealership.

There's a ton of Black 24's still sitting on lots, It's weird. Also, the used prices are falling fairly quickly. Dealers are sitting on a lot of these used ones that are not worth what they bought them on trade for.

Carmax still selling used with 2k to 8k miles for $60k lol

For some reason dealers really over ordered on black and shelter green. There almost no blue or red 2024s out there.

Didn’t Henry Ford say “you can have one in any color you want as long as that color is black”???

No way will they sell if for that much off! Smoke and mirrors! Invoice is like $2500 off MSRP! Even with holdback, floor plan assistance, marketing support, etc they would be loosing a couple thousand dollars on that deal. I saw on their website they charge a $800 fee on top of what ever else they tack on. At that price why is still sitting on the lot? Edit! I just checked their website and it's not showing up any longer.

Yeah, they are buried in it. The car market is crashing pretty fast now & the tolerance on the prices of these RR's

Sure they will. 25's are weeks away from hitting the lots. Leftover vehicles get sold under invoice all the time.

Sure! Selling under invoice a little sure, but a couple thousand under? Slim chance. Without factory incentives would be crazy especially on a RR. Bronco's yes because of the factory kick backs to dealers. It's gone, so someone got a good deal, but I doubt $6000 off.

If its a small independent dealer, or any dealer that does floor plan financing for their lot inventory instead of buying their inventory with cash, they will lose less money selling the vehicle for 2000 under what they paid for it than by paying the interest required to keep it unsold on the lot long-term

Its no longer on Autotrader - if you read the fine print with Financing, etc. they will make back $2K - $3K. I was going to buy one at a discount a few weeks ago and had to finance at 7.99 for at least 6 months. I have the cash - just the games that go on. And $799 dealer fee is a ripe off. I know dealer that still charge $200 or less.

Not around here. The occasional RR that show up at dealers sit on the lot for about a day, then are gone, even with a markup.

I bought this ranger raptor with the intention of putting 1 million miles on the odometer. Sadly planned obsolescence trumps “lifetime” anything.

This forum and the raptor one are the reasons why I went back and bought a 10 year 125k mile warranty. I don’t have much faith in this truck lasting but I am having a good time in it.

Florida doesn't cap fees so it's common to see $1,200-$2,000 in dealer fees on new cars. I was shopping GMC Canyon AT4X's at a dealer in Tampa with great discounts. However once you add all the mandatory fees they have it's not that great of a deal.
I got my Raptor with a $125 dealer handling fee, Western Arkansas is cheap for fees but at the time I had to pay MSRP as it was May of last year. If I could've held off I bet a $2,000 off MSRP deal could've been had.

FWIW I saw a random article on mid-size trucks yesterday that said Ford has not even started production on 2025 Rangers yet after some holdups. Didn't specify if it was all Rangers variants.

There are 2025's sitting on lots already, Raptor, Lariat, XLT I've seen actual dealer photos of.

Intentional or not, obsolescence got my '17 F150 4x4 SCab 5.0l at 93k miles in August of 2023 when a CEL illuminated and there were like four codes. All the codes related to the Intake Manifold Runner Control (IRCM). One bank and failed in the closed position. After doing some research and calling dealers, not manifold assembly was available. Over 1,400 on national back order at the time. Found one dealer that was reported by another dealer to have two in stock. When I called them, they would not sell over the counter.

My solution was to remove the manifold lock wire the IRCM banks to full open, and buy a controller and tune. The lack of OEM parts and that tune ruined the truck. I traded it for a Tacoma after getting home from Colorado. The Tacoma was traded last summer.
