For those of us who may have nothing (MY 25+ without convenience pkg), I'm going to assume there's no aftermarket solution premade for that panel space. Would have to fab something up ourselves?
No, go back and read post #21. I fabbed up my own but with the recent discovery of this low priced OEM part that's the way to go, it didn't exist when I did mine.

Does the panel everyone is adding have a standalone inverter built-in (just run power/ground to it) or would it only work if I had the under seat inverter shown earlier this evening?

Last question I think 😁

You need the inverter. The harness just sends 120v and 12v back. That is why it has an orange sleeve

@superj When was your Ranger built? Mine was Oct 2025. I wonder if they changed the wire mounting locations when they dropped the 12 volt socket.

I wonder if we could splice into the 12 volt cargo bed light?
mine was built February 2025, the connector is on the frame under truck. only 110V plug. but frame connector has 12v on truck side. 6 wires going into the plug, and only 4 coming out

Mine is set up the same but I do have six wires behind the wheel. I neglected to count the wires behind the panel before I screwed it back into place. 🙄

Ok, took some photos under. March'26 build. I do have a orange wrapped loom coming down the frame rail. The orange tape stops before it branches off to the other pictured connectors that I think are the subject of y'all's posts. Seven wires in that one connector and one blank. ---shrugs--- 😁

Mine has no inverter so i geuss i have to run a wire from the battery to the panel for power.
Did you end up doing this @superj? I know we have the same 24 STX. I didn't see any harness blanks anywhere either.
My plan, at the moment at least, is to use a method from another guy on here to put in a Curt tow harness to give myself 7pin tow (which I don't have yet) and some repinning from the OEM 4pin to give it power without running a wire to the battery, and at the same time tap off that power to get at least a 12v socket on my blank bed panel. Don't think there's much harm pulling from there - famous last words.

I'm just going to use the blank panel that's there on my '25 XL. Adding USB, a 12V SAE port, and a light so I can see when the cover is closed.
Will get the 12V from the trailer tow harness.
Did you end up getting this done? Would love to see how your solution worked, especially on rear connections. Tapped the tow wire, or ran 12v to the battery?

Not yet. All I've done is add magnetic USB rechargeable lights to the bed under the cover. The 12 volt and USB in the bed isn't a priority as I had them in my Maverick for three years and never used them. I've added them to the outside of of our camper which is when I would mostly use them.
